What is Isobuten Solution – WP90?

Isobuten Solution – WP90 contains an emulsion polymer that enhances the bonding strength of concrete components, reduces the permeability of concrete, and improves the durability and tensile strength of concrete. The solution easily disperses in concrete, increasing the adhesion of concrete components to each other, thus improving strength, durability, and flexibility. Additionally, the polymer components in the solution help enhance the waterproofing properties of concrete.

How to Use Isobuten Solution – WP90?

Pre-Application Control and Recommendations

For optimal results, sand, gravel, and cement should be completely dry before use. Remove coarse aggregates (larger than pea-sized) and leave only pea-sized or finer particles. Very coarse aggregates will cause the concrete surface to be uneven with gaps.

Steps for Application:

1. Mix two parts of clean, dry sand and gravel with one part of Type 2 cement.

2. Approximately 11 kg of Isobuten Solution WP90 (for one square meter of coverage) requires the following weights:

• Sand and gravel: 7 kg
• Cement: 2.2 kg
• Isobuten Solution WP90: 1.8 kg

3. Separate out the coarse aggregates (larger than pea-sized) and only use fine aggregates.

4. Add one part of Isobuten Solution WP90 to the mixture and mix thoroughly.

Note:

• 11 kg of the polymer-modified concrete mixture will cover one square meter with a thickness of about 2 cm.
• Unlike regular concrete, this concrete will lose its moisture entirely 24 hours after application and reach optimal conditions.

Drying Time for Isobuten:

At temperatures above 18°C, Isobuten dries and hardens completely in 24 hours, losing all moisture.
