Epoxy Stone Adhesive with Hardener 2260
Stone Resin (Stone Adhesive) is a two-component, solvent-free material based on epoxy resin and modified polyamine hardener with suitable viscosity, available in both paste and transparent forms.
Epoxy Two-Component Adhesive for Construction Materials
How to Use
- Preparation
Ensure the surface is completely clean and free from water or moisture.
The tools and containers used for mixing should be thoroughly clean.
Materials should not be frozen in storage containers.
- Temperature Requirements for Application
Before application, measure the surface and material temperature using a digital thermometer.
Make sure the temperature of the materials and the surface during application is between 20-30°C. If it is outside this range, contact Mandana Polymer’s technical department.
How to Apply Epoxy Stone Resin (Paste or Liquid)
Application Steps:
- Prepare the work surface and control environmental factors (follow relevant instructions).
- Chemically clean the surface if oil or grease is present using OP30 solution.
- Apply Primer with Hardener 2260-EF10 according to the primer application instructions to seal the surface pores (if needed).
- Apply Epoxy Stone Resin: Stir the epoxy resin for 2 minutes before adding the hardener. After adding the hardener, mix for 3 minutes, then allow the resin and hardener mixture to rest for 1 to 5 minutes before application. Once fully dried, proceed with the next step as per the instructions.
Important Notes:
- Never use hardeners other than the one specifically designed for Epoxy Stone Resin.
- Even small variations (as little as 10 grams) in the amount of hardener can ruin the final result.
- Carefully measure and weigh the exact amount of hardener using a precise industrial scale. Avoid using inaccurate scales or supermarket scales.
- Avoid mixing more than required for the top coat of epoxy with the hardener.
- For mixing quantities greater than one kilogram, use an electric mixer.
