Epoxy Paint with 30% Softener and HBF Hardener
Epoxy paint with 30% softener and HBF hardener is a strong protective coating that provides high resistance to moisture, abrasion, and chemicals. Due to the presence of the softener, this paint has excellent flexibility, preventing cracking. The use of HBF hardener enhances adhesion, durability, and appropriate hardness of the coating. This industrial epoxy paint is used on epoxy flooring, metal surfaces, concrete, and industrial equipment, making it an ideal option for high-traffic and chemical environments.
How to Use Epoxy Paint with 30% Softener and HBF Hardener
To achieve a resilient and durable epoxy paint with 30% softener and HBF hardener, it is essential to follow the correct application steps outlined below.
Step 1: Pre-Application Control and Recommendations
- If applying epoxy paint on a metal surface, ensure the surface is thoroughly cleaned and free of dust, water, and moisture.
- If the surface is greasy, wash it with OP30 degreaser solution and dry it.
- Tools and containers used for mixing should be completely clean and free of contaminants.
Step 2: Ensure Proper Temperature for Application
- Before applying, measure the surface and material temperature using a digital thermometer.
- The optimal temperature for the surface and materials during application should be between 20 to 30°C. If temperatures fall outside this range, please contact the technical support team at Mandana Polymer.
Step 3: Preparation
- Epoxy paint with softener can be applied on a surface that has been primed with EF10 primer.
- Apply the soft epoxy layer 12 hours after the EF10 primer layer has been applied.
Application Steps
- Clean the surface and remove any rust or corrosion using sandpaper.
- Chemically wash oily surfaces with OP30 degreaser solution (if needed).
- Apply EF10 primer with hardener 2260: Stir the primer in its bottle for 2 minutes before adding the hardener. After adding the hardener, mix for 3 minutes, and allow the mixture to rest for 1 to 5 minutes before application.
- Apply the primer to the surface with a brush or roller.
- 12 hours after the primer has dried, apply the soft epoxy layer with a brush or spatula.
- Apply epoxy with HBF hardener: Stir the epoxy base for 2 minutes before adding the hardener. After adding the hardener, mix the two for 3 minutes, and allow the mixture to rest for 1 to 5 minutes before applying it to the surface.
