What is Epoxy Casting with Hardener HBA – EP701?
Epoxy resin EP70 and hardener HBA are produced based on Epoxy Bisphenol A resin and Polyamine Hardener. Epoxy casting, also known as epoxy molding, is used for molding and casting industrial parts and sensitive models. This product, due to its optimal viscosity and excellent penetration ability, allows for the casting and replication of complex parts in a single step, without altering the physical structure of the resulting pieces. The polymer structure of the product remains stable and does not undergo any volume or weight changes after the chemical reaction.
How to Use Epoxy Casting with Hardener HBA – EP701
Pre-execution Control and Recommendations
The workshop temperature during the resin and hardener mixing process should be set between 20°C to 30°C. The working environment should be clean and free from any dust. The relative humidity should be below 70%.

Steps for Using Epoxy Casting with Hardener HBA – EP701
- Before adding the hardener to the epoxy resin, stir the epoxy resin in the container for 2 minutes.
- For every 100 grams of Epoxy Casting EP701, use 10 grams of hardener.
- After adding hardener HBA, mix the hardener and epoxy resin for 3 minutes, and allow the mixture to rest for 1 to 5 minutes before application.
Important Notes:
- Never use other hardeners instead of the dedicated hardener for Epoxy Casting.
- Even a 10-gram variation in the amount of hardener can affect the final result.
- Weigh all calculations and hardener amounts accurately using an industrial scale.
- Never mix excessive amounts of epoxy resin with hardener.
