How to Use Resin Flooring with HBA-EF50 Hardener?

Surface Preparation and Pre-Application Recommendations

– Thoroughly clean and remove any dust or debris from the surface.
– If the surface is uneven or has irregularities, it must be leveled.
– Resin flooring should not be applied on rainy days, and the surface must be entirely free of moisture or water.
– The surface temperature must be at least 18°C or higher.

Application Steps

1. Before mixing the resin and hardener, thoroughly stir the resin container to ensure any settled material is fully mixed with the active resin.
   2. Add the recommended amount of hardener (19 grams per kilogram) gradually into the resin while stirring continuously. Mix the hardener and resin for precisely 3 minutes.
   3. Using a trowel, spread a thin layer of resin flooring onto the prepared surface. Apply pressure to the trowel at an angle.
   4. Clean the trowel regularly during application using an epoxy solvent.
   5. After completing the designated area, cover the applied area with plastic sheeting to prevent dust from settling until the resin dries.

Drying Time

Avoid any traffic until the surface fully dries (approximately 12 hours).
