Introduction to Manapoxy EP64 Adhesive:
The two-component epoxy adhesive for construction materials (Manapoxy EP64) is a paste-based adhesive made from epoxy resin and modified amine hardener. Manapoxy is solvent-free, and its volatile organic compounds are minimal. This adhesive boasts excellent adhesion and mechanical strength, forming a permanent bond. It is designed and formulated for both dry and wet environments. Manapoxy is one of the most popular and widely used products of Mandana Polymer Engineering. This adhesive has passed all quality control tests and standards before mass production.
Features and Benefits of Manapoxy EP64
– Easy to use
– Ambient curing
– Service life equivalent to the structure’s life span
– Resistant to extreme temperatures (below zero)
– High impact and mechanical resistance
Applications of Manapoxy EP64 Adhesive
– General purposes
– Joints and connections
– Stone, slabs, concrete, metal
How to Apply Manapoxy EP64 Adhesive
Step 1: Preliminary Requirements and Preparation Before Application:
– Ensure the surface is completely dry and free of moisture and dust.
– Use the correct ratio of Component A (resin) to Component B (hardener). Avoid altering the material ratio.
– Do not add other materials (e.g., thinner or other diluents) to Component A (resin) or Component B (hardener).
– The recommended ambient and surface temperature range for application is 20-30°C.
– Avoid heating materials with an open flame or direct heat.
– Seal the resin and hardener containers tightly after use.
– Prevent the resin and hardener containers from mixing with water or moisture.
– Stir the hardener thoroughly for one minute until fully homogeneous before mixing with the resin.
– Store materials at room temperature (20-30°C).
Step 2: Method for Applying Manapoxy EP64 Adhesive:
1. Allow the adhesive to acclimate to room temperature (20-30°C) at least one day before use.
2. Weigh the required amount of resin and mix with the hardener for 3 minutes, ensuring a continuous and steady motion.
3. Maintain a precise 1:1 mixing ratio (e.g., 100g of resin to 100g of hardener). Mix until color is uniform before application.
4. The adhesive mixture will gradually heat up after mixing. Initially, it may thicken, but it will soften again due to the reaction heat. The mixture will harden completely after 45 minutes.
5. At 25°C, the initial curing time is 45 minutes, secondary curing time is 6 hours, and complete curing time is 5-7 days.
6. If materials appear separated in storage, gently mix to restore homogeneity before use.
7. Use gloves and a mask during application.
